Visual standings
I used to update our division race graphs every morning, but I haven’t been able to get to it this year. I’m still hoping to figure out some system, but in the meantime I thought you might like to see the two most interesting graphs—the two divisions that have featured last-to-first surges in the past month. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so here you go:

Looks to my untrained eye like the shading is only between specified teams for some reason; Pads-D’backs in the NL West graph, and Phils-Marlins in the NL East.
I put in the gray shading to give some depth and perspective to the graph and make it easier to read the colored lines. Ideally, the gray would cover the first to last place teams, which works well in the other four divisions. But because these two divisions have been topsy-turvy the last month, I just picked a gray background that seemed to help the most.
I’ve always wanted to ask, what is the shading for?
It’s not between first and last at the end of the graph. I just can’t tell why you include it.
