There is a new batted ball report available for Batted Ball subscribers. This week’s edition consists of pitching leaderboards and in-depth looks at some of the quirkiest pitchers in the majors. Someone has a neat demonstration of how a curveball might sometimes appear to have a huge break—bigger than could be explained by simple physics. I don’t know what to believe, but the visual is awesome. (Hat tip: SABR-L)
