2015 Season Preview Week!
Baseball is almost here. We’ve earned it. It’s been a long winter no matter where you live, and if you live in certain places in this country it’s been an unforgiving winter. But we can now not only see the light at the end of the tunnel, we can feel it shining on our faces. Opening Day is a scant week away! Opening night for the Cardinals and Cubs even less so! And while some may still rankle at the concept of Opening Night, at least it brings baseball with it.
As such, we’ve put together a week of season preview content. Today, we kicked things off with Sean Dolinar’s season preview in data visualization, and that is just the beginning. Here is how the rest of the week is going to shake out.
The 2015 Season Preview in…
- Monday: Data Visualization, by Sean Dolinar
- Tuesday: Strikeouts, by Michael Barr, Jared Cross, Patrick Dubuque, Chris Mitchell, Jon Roegele and David G. Temple
- Wednesday: Pursuing Pennants, by Mark Armour and Dan Levitt
- Thursday: Projected League Leaders, by Jared Cross
- Friday: Play Indices, by Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman
I will update these with links when they go live. In addition to this content, we have some special treats in store for Opening Day next Monday, so stay tuned for those. Happy baseball!
