Angels 4, Royals 3: Torii Hunter’s catch in the ninth was sick. After the game, Hunter said that it was his second best of all time, with number one being the one in the 2002 All-Star game where he robbed Barry Bonds of a homer. But unlike the 2002 All-Star game, someone won this game, […]
This week on “Law and Order: MLB”: Excuse me for asking, but how do we know that Ken Griffey didn’t juice? A.J. Hinch? Really? Junk bonds! Get yer read hot JUNK bonds! R.I.P., Little Professor Finally,
A slightly superficial edition this morning, as I was working on another writing project last night. I’m so lazy about this that I’m not even going to link up the box scores, so if you want them, go here. Apologies, but I’m freakin’ tired, dudes: Nationals 11, Dodgers 9: I’m guessing at this point that […]

TUCK! toons every week, right here.

The Yankees don’t need to “get tough.” They need […]

Usually it happens when various strains of B.S. infect my life the night before, which was the case last night. Apologies, but such is life when you’re essentially moonlighting. Regular blogging will resume later this morning.
I apologize for the lack of posts today. Some work stuff has me sidetracked for a bit, but that should clear soon and there will be posting this afternoon.
Can we get a ruling on whether Bob Costas is still an NBC guy, or if he’s now more properly an MLB Network personality? If it’s the latter I may say I’m far more angry at him for not bringing up the Duke thing when he interviewed Selena Roberts the other day than I will […]
